Mestre Ouro's death devastates Veneno, Noivo, and the entire Xerém and Capoeira Fiel communities. Veneno promises to quit the Ring of Blood, and Noivo promises to fight a rematch to help him recover what he needs to start his life over. Perdigueiro finally discovers the whole truth about his father's death from his old comrade in arms, Sergeant Rocha. Ventania turns 18, argues with her mother, and learns about the Ring of Blood.
